Gilda's Club Wisconsin

Gilda's Club Wisconsin Gilda’s Club is a community of free emotional support, cancer education, and hope for children and adults with any cancer diagnosis and their loved ones.

We are here to take on cancer together - in person and online- so that no one faces cancer alone. Cancer support for the whole family...the whole time.

On June 28th, we will celebrate what would have been Gilda Rader's 80th birthday. Our namesake had the vision of creating a warm, welcoming community where anyone could find the support they need during their cancer journey.

We would love your help in celebrating her! Please share the memories that you have of Gilda Radner and what she has meant in your life. Whether it is a fun memory of watching her on SNL with your family, a personal encounter, or simply the impact that she has had on you because she is the reason Gilda's Club exists...we'd love to hear your story!

What you share could be included as a part of a blog in celebration of what would have been her birthday at the end of June.

To share your memory, please complete this form: https://forms.gle/w4Bjr1FLNBFB1Fum9

We’re so grateful to New View Painting for stepping in to help after a pipe burst in our attic caused ceiling damage at Gilda’s Club Wisconsin.

Owner Jesse generously provided patching and repair work, with painting to follow this week. Your kindness helps us restore the spaces where so much connection, support, and care take place every day.

In moments like these, we’re reminded that community shows up in many ways. Sometimes it’s in a support group room, and sometimes it’s in the people who help restore the rooms themselves.

Thank you, New View Painting, for your kindness and support.

Because of the generosity of our community, incredible things happen every day at Gilda's Club Wisconsin.

Support from fundraising events like Gilda's Backyard BBQ, gifts from individual donors, corporate partnerships, grants, and community fundraisers helps ensure that every program and service we provide remains completely free for anyone impacted by cancer.

The poem in this post shares just a few of the ways your support made a difference last year. Behind every statistic is a person, a family, a friend, or a neighbor who found connection, hope, and community when they needed it most.

Join us on June 11 for Gilda's Backyard BBQ and help us continue making life a little easier for people facing some of life's biggest challenges. Enjoy a great evening of food, drinks, music, friends, and purpose, all while helping ensure that no one faces cancer alone.

Register today at GildasBBQ.com. We can't wait to see you there. ❤️

A huge thank you to Skyline Services, Inc., for helping keep our clubhouse shining bright! ✨

Their team generously donated floor repair and polishing services for the Gilda’s Club Community Room and Art Room, giving these important spaces the care and refresh they needed for the thousands of visits that happen here each year.

We are also incredibly grateful to Skyline Cleaning Services, Reid Hemlock, and the entire team for donating a wonderful live auction package for this year’s Red Doors Golf Outing! The package includes a complimentary residential or business cleaning service, paired with a generous donation from Sanctuary Organization for a personalized, professional home-organizing service, creating an amazing experience for one lucky winner.

What makes their support even more meaningful is Skyline Cleaning’s commitment to giving back beyond Gilda’s Club. Through “Cleaning for a Reason,” they provide free home cleanings for cancer patients, helping ease the burden during some of life’s hardest moments.

Thank you, Skyline Cleaning and Sanctuary Organization, for showing what community in action truly looks like. ❤️

Earlier this month, we gathered among the blooms for "Everyday Adventures: Young Adult Olbrich Tour." It was a gorgeous day to explore all of the spring blossoms. We ended the morning with a delicious lunch at Ian's Pizza. A huge thank you to Olbrich Botanical Gardens for the guided tour and beautiful morning, and to Ian's Pizza Madison for the amazing pizza.
