The City of Bolivar Streets and Sanitation Department will be assisting the City of Middleton residents with debris removal caused by the recent ice storm. This will take place on February 19th and 20th. Debris to be picked up will ONLY include broken trees/tree limbs. This does NOT include household garbage or other waste that you may have in your yard. Debris must also be moved to the right-of-way in order to be picked up. À later date will be set for a second round of debris pickup (TBD). If you have any additional questions, please reach out to City Hall at 731-376-8409.

🔥Warming Center Notice🔥

Beginning tomorrow, January 27 at 8:00 AM, a warming center will be open at the Middleton Community Center. The center will have cots and running water available.

The American Red Cross will also be present with supplies to help residents navigate this catastrophic ice storm.

The warming center will be open 24 hours a day and will remain open until power is restored in Middleton.

Please share this information with anyone who may need it.

City of Middleton Water Update: Due to low water pressure, a boil water notice is hereby issued to all customers until further notice. We sincerely appreciate your patience, as we are doing everything possible to get utilities restored.

🚨PUBLIC NOTICE 🚨

Due to the catastrophic damage from the storm, Tippah Electric has announced that it could take several days to weeks to get everyone restored. With no electricity, the water tanks for the City of Middleton will eventually run dry. Please be advised to use water as sparingly as possible, and check on your friends and neighbors during this time. We hope everyone stays as safe and warm as possible.

With the winter storm expected in the coming days, please be aware:

If you have an emergency with your water or natural gas, please contact dispatch at 731-658-1902, and they will reach out to the Middleton Utility Department.

In the event of a prolonged power outage, please be mindful of water usage. While it is encouraged to leave your faucets dripping, please use water sparingly. We advise you to have drinking water on hand in case of emergency.
