Writing is not only for the professional and the published...writing your story is for EVERYONE. Come check out our community's creativity by stopping by the Olympic Dioramas display at our Middleton Public Library!! They are sure to delight you as we all get through mid-winter in the Midwest!

Olympic Dioramas are now on display! Come see all the entries and vote for your favorites! Dioramas will be on display February 2 - 21.

Friends, this is a great way to support your community through your favorite library! Middleton Library is collecting non-perishable food items to distribute through WayForward Resources...in a month when groceries are going to be a hard thing for many of our families, this is something we can do as we go to pick up our newest hold or stop in for a class. Next time you come in, bring a bag of food and drop it with your library!

The Middleton Public Library is a Food Donation Drop-Off Location!

In addition to warm clothes, any non-perishable food items can be placed in the bins located in the library lobby. All donations will be distributed through WayForward Resources.

What do we do? 🤔

Sure, we fundraise, but I can promise you as a person who HATES asking people for 💲, it's not that kind of fundraising. So many people love libraries...all we're here to do is gently and passionately remind everyone of what their library is capable of with a little volunteer time, donated money, or community partnership. With that kind of help, we can let the library really flex their community-helping muscles! We want our community to feel invested and involved in taking care of each other- and the library is a fantastic venue to help through.

While the library itself has their own funding and ability to offer programs, WE get to receive donations from the community and use that towards BONUS programs with BIG impact, like:
📖-free ESL classes for English learners
🚐-stocking the Bookmobile as it visits areas all over Middleton, specially including areas of limited book access
🏰-exciting and free community events for everyone to attend like the Ren Faire!
💕-library staff appreciation (WE LOVE OUR MIDDLETON PUBLIC LIBRARY STAFF)
💡-(fill in your next idea here!)
