Middleton Academy students are making us proud! 👏💙

Our all-girls SkillsUSA team was recognized by Brad Little for earning Gold in the Goodheart-Wilcox competition and for their outstanding community service efforts!

The team also generously donated the handcrafted table they built to the school board and expressed their appreciation for the board’s continued support. 🛠️✨

Congratulations to Gabby Hollinger, Sydnee Dias, and Alexys Vose on this incredible accomplishment! 🎉

Middleton School District is proud to celebrate Middleton High School CTE students Liam Vecchio and Dante Sanguinetti on becoming the newest STRAP Program Apprentices! 👏🔧

Through this incredible opportunity with the Sheet Metal Workers SMART Local 55, these students will earn $28/hour, begin building a 401(k), receive hands-on training, and work toward full-time employment after completing their apprenticeship. They’ll also receive approximately $1,000 worth of tools to support their future careers.

We are excited to see Liam and Dante begin this journey and represent the strength of career and technical education in Middleton Schools. Best of luck this summer and beyond! 💙💛

Entrepreneurship in action at Heights Elementary! 💡💰

Heights 5th graders wrapped up their economics unit by creating and running their very own businesses for the annual Quarter Sale! From sweet treats and bracelets to 3D printed toys and more, our Kindergarten–4th grade students had a blast shopping and supporting their classmates. It was a great way to close out the school year.

What a fun hands-on way to learn about budgeting, marketing, teamwork, and business skills! 👏🛍️

💛🌿 ACTS OF KINDNESS COMMUNITY DAY 🌿💛

Join Middleton Schools and community volunteers as we come together to serve, beautify our schools, and support local families!

📅 Saturday, June 6, 2026
⏰ 9:00 AM – Noon
📍 Meet at Middleton High School

We’re asking for MANY helping hands as approximately 9,000 yards of rock chip and shrubs are being delivered to the high school! Volunteers are needed to help spread materials, clean up the grounds, and get our schools looking great heading into summer. This is a true community collaboration, and everyone is welcome to help!

💪 Ways You Can Help:
🌱 Landscaping and touch-ups at the middle and high school
➡️ Please bring shovels, edgers, rakes, shears, w**d eaters, and gloves if you have them

🥫 Donate non-perishable food items
📍 Drop-off locations:
• Middleton City Hall
• Fire Station
• Library
• Ridley’s Family Market

Most needed items:
• Tuna
• Spaghetti Sauce
• Cereal
• Mac & Cheese

☀️🍎 Free Summer Meals for Kids in Middleton! 🍎☀️

The Oasis Summer Feeding Program is excited to provide free lunches for children ages 1–18 this summer because every child deserves access to healthy meals while school is out.

📅 May 29 – August 14
🕦 Monday – Friday | 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.
🌦️ Rain or shine
❌ Closed July 3

📍 Meal Locations:
• Hawthorne Park – 383 N. Hawthorne Dr.
• Foote Park – 703 Cornell St.

💲 Adult meals may be purchased for $5.00

📌 As required by USDA guidelines, all lunches must be eaten at the designated meal site.

Please help spread the word so Middleton families can take advantage of this valuable community resource!

Middleton School District patrons are encouraged to get out and vote on the supplemental levy election.

📍 Idaho Voting Information:
• Polls are open from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
• Vote at your assigned polling location (You can find this info at voteidaho.gov)
• Bring an approved photo ID or sign a personal identification affidavit

📚 What the Supplemental Levy Supports:
• Student programs and services
• Staff positions
• Daily district operations
• Continued support for schools over the next 2 years

💰 Levy Details:
• $1.9 million per year
• 2-year levy
• Replaces the current levy expiring June 30, 2026
• Requires a simple majority for approval
