EQUIPMENT TRIANGLE
AEMP created the term “Equipment Triangle”. AEMP advances this philosophy through its education and certification programs.

Formed in 1980, the Association of Equipment Management Professionals represents fleet professionals working in construction, government, utilities, energy, mining and more. It is the cornerstone of the association’s philosophy that a balanced relationship must exist between the End User, Distributor, and OEM/Supplier in the life cycle of a piece of heavy equipment or product. AEMP's credentials showcase the specialized skill sets needed by equipment industry professionals. Each offering is lead by industry experts with a strong focus on peer-to-peer learning. They are designed to enhance individual skill sets, to provide an opportunity to exchange best practices, and to present new ideas and strategies unique to the equipment industry. Three credentials are available: Certified Equipment Manager (CEM), Equipment Manager Specialist (EMS) and Certified Equipment Support Professional (CESP). FOUNDATION
The AEMP Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization formed by AEMP to advance the asset management profession and those who work in the heavy equipment industry. The Foundation awards numerous scholarships to students entering the heavy equipment technician profession on an annual basis.
