US National Weather Service Philadelphia/Mount Holly and US National Weather Service New York NY have issued a Special Weather Statement for the elevated risk for the spread of wildfires in New Jersey today.

❗️SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT:
There is an increased risk for rapid fire spread this afternoon across much of New Jersey. Minimum relative humidity values will be around 30 to 35 percent combined with southwest winds of 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. High temperatures will be in the upper 70s to low 80s. These conditions, along with the continued drying of fine fuels, could support the rapid spread of any fires that ignite, which could quickly become difficult to control.

US National Weather Service Philadelphia/Mount Holly and US National Weather Service New York NY have issued a Special Weather Statement for the elevated risk for the spread of wildfires in New Jersey today.

❗️SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT:
There is an increased risk for rapid fire spread later today across portions of New Jersey. Minimum relative humidity values will be around 20 percent combined with west to northwest winds of 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. High temperatures today will be in the mid to upper 50s. These conditions, along with the continued drying of fine fuels, could support the rapid spread of any fires that ignite, which could quickly become difficult to control.

US National Weather Service Philadelphia/Mount Holly has issued a Special Weather Statement for the elevated risk for the spread of wildfires in northern New Jersey.

❗️SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT:
There is an increased risk for fire spread today across portions of northern New Jersey. Minimum relative humidity values will be between 20 to 30 percent combined with south-southwest winds near 10 to 15 mph and gusts up to 20-25 mph. High temperatures this afternoon will range from the mid 60s to low 70s. These conditions along with the continued drying of fine fuels could support the rapid spread of any fires that ignite, which could quickly become difficult to control.

🔥 Fire Restrictions Lifted Statewide

Following substantial rainfall overnight, the New Jersey Forest Fire Service has lifted fire restrictions statewide.

Although restrictions have been lifted, the Forest Fire Service asks that New Jerseyans do not become complacent and continue to be careful when using fire.

US National Weather Service New York NY has issued a Special Weather Statement for the elevated risk for the spread of wildfires in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic and Union counties.

❗️SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT:
There is an elevated risk of wildfire spread today with NW winds 10 to 15 mph and gusts around 20 to 30 mph this afternoon. Minimum relative humidity values will range from 35 to 40 percent.

Additionally, Stage 3 Fire Restrictions are in effect statewide.

US National Weather Service Philadelphia/Mount Holly and US National Weather Service New York NY have issued a Special Weather Statement for the elevated risk for the spread of wildfires throughout New Jersey today.

❗️SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT:
There is an increased risk for fire spread through early this evening. Minimum relative humidity values are expected to be between 20 and 30 percent this afternoon with the exception of the immediate coastal areas. Wind gusts will be around 15 mph. Due to the combination of marginal winds and very low relative humidity values, these conditions could support the rapid spread of any fires that ignite, which could quickly become difficult to control.

Additionally, Stage 3 Fire Restrictions are in effect statewide.
