We have some exciting news! We are officially announcing our ADULT SUMMER READING EVENTS ONLY IN MIDDLESBORO☀️🍉📚

Take a look below at all of our upcoming events for the summer and tell us which one you’re most excited for. Feel free to read through the description of each event as well and we hope to see you there!

For the book club, we will be reading People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry. The Fable app will also be part of this so it can also be virtual.

Pot painting with a seed starter
Patrons will have the opportunity to paint a flower pot however they'd like and receive a seed starter before they leave.

Claw clip and brush decorating
Decorate your own claw clip and brush with beads, glitter and jewels.

Build a soundtrack for a summer romance
This is a virtual event to get patrons excited to unearth a summer romance. They can use whatever music app, or just pen and paper, to put together their ideal summer soundtrack.

Flower press art
We will be making wooden coasters with dried flowers on them. Patrons will pick out their favorite flowers and place them on the coaster in the design of their choice then mod podge the flowers down to seal.

Drama in abstract art
Patrons will get a canvas and paint the emotions of a complicated romance using shapes and colors.

Self-care night
This will be a virtual event where patrons just relax and enjoy their evening (or whatever time of day). Whether it be a cozy book night or a spa night, this coincides with the theme for the week which is "heartbreak and healing".

Stained glass bookmark
I know this says stained glass but it's basically like a diy stained glass. Reference picture is included. It's basically a clear bookmark and you trace a stained glass print out with paint.

Plant swap
Patrons can stop by and exchange plants. Plants will be required to be healthy, pest-free and labeled. It will be encouraged to included care tips.

Book bedazzling
Patrons will be asked to bring their own book to bedazzle, all other supplies will be included. (Gems and glue)
