🗽Two Nights to Celebrate America’s 250th in Bell County🗽

As Bell County communities come together to celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary, the City of Middlesboro will host our annual Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration on Friday, July 3rd, with our neighboring city of Pineville hosting an evening golf cart parade and fireworks on Saturday, July 4th.

This year’s schedule gives families the opportunity to enjoy two days of celebration across our county as we honor our nation’s history together.

We’re proud to partner in making this a county-wide celebration of patriotism, community, and tradition.

As many residents are aware, a new water company began operations this month. Like many of you, City officials and staff have also been navigating this transition in real time and working with limited information as changes have been implemented.

We appreciate the patience and understanding residents have shown to our City Hall staff as we continue helping answer questions and direct citizens as best we can.

Beginning July 1st:
Water bills may be paid:
• By mail
• Online
• At Walmart
• At Dollar General
• At Kroger

Sewer and trash payments may continue to be paid at City Hall as normal.

We understand this transition has not always been smooth, but we remain committed to sharing updates and information with the community whenever they are made available to us. Thank you for your continued patience.

🗽Middlesboro has been celebrating the Fourth of July for generations. 🗽

This newspaper page from July 1976 featured local parade history during America’s Bicentennial celebration.

As we prepare for this year’s America 250 celebration, it’s a reminder that community traditions like the Fourth of July Parade continue to connect generations here in the Crater.
