While we are disappointed by yesterday’s election result, today our overwhelming feeling is gratitude.

Thank you to Casey Larkin for stepping forward and running a campaign rooted in respect, community, and the belief that residents deserve a voice. We are proud of the campaign he ran and proud to have stood with him.

Thank you to every volunteer who joined us along the way. Every one of you mattered.

What gives us hope today is knowing that what has grown in Middlebury over the last several years does not end here.

If you’ve been looking to get involved, we have a place for you. We will continue to welcome new voices and work toward a Middlebury where more residents are engaged, informed, and heard.

The election is over. The work continues.

Polls are open today from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Shepardson Community Center.

At its best, democracy works because people have a choice and a voice. Thank you to everyone who has participated in this process, and if you’re eligible to vote, make a plan to cast your ballot today.

Reminder! 🗳️ There is no early voting today (Friday, June 19th). There are still two chances to vote early this weekend:

✅ Saturday, June 20 | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
✅ Sunday, June 21 | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
📍Shepardson Community Center, Room 5

Thank you to Casey Larkin for organizing last night’s Voter Forum and creating an opportunity for residents to hear directly from the candidates about the future of our town.

Thank you as well to Marjorie Needham for moderating and to everyone who took the time to attend and participate. We hope this type of community forum becomes a staple of future campaigns in Middlebury. 🗳️
