Great information for military families interested in scouting!!

Military families: an important benefit for your Scout’s membership.

Scouting America’s Military Family Fee Waiver covers the $85 national youth registration fee for eligible youth in families with current service in the Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard, or Coast Guard.

Whether your Scout is renewing or your family is joining for the first time, this benefit helps make Scouting more affordable.

To use the waiver: During online registration or renewal, select “Get Military Discount Code,” complete verification, and enter your code at checkout. The $85 national fee will then be removed.

Pack and troop leaders: Please share this information with your military families before their next renewal.

Considering Scouting? Visit BeAScout.org to find a local program. We’d love to welcome your family to Connecticut Rivers Council!

See the graphic for eligibility and instructions.

Available for online registrations only. Local council fees, unit fees, optional purchases, and processing fees may still apply.

Behind every fundraiser is an opportunity to create memories, build friendships, learn new skills, and give our kids experiences that help shape who they become.
