The Elkhart County Food Collaborative is a partnership of nonprofit organizations united by one mission: to ensure no one in our community goes hungry. By pooling resources, sharing ideas, and working side-by-side, we’re tackling food insecurity with the strength that comes from working together.

We wrapped up the 25-26 school year by recognizing our student leadership team, celebrating student attendance, our 4th quarter Mighty Middies, and our Mighty Middies of the Year. Thank you students and families for such a great year. Best wishes to our 3rd graders moving on to Heritage Intermediate. We will miss you!

We welcomed our graduating Middies back to the building yesterday for one more walk through their old halls, cafeteria, and playground. Congratulations to the class of 2026 and best wishes as you take the next steps in life!

The last day of school is filled with traditions here at MES, and we might have started a new one yesterday. After having so much fun playing it at our last staff gathering, we decided to play a friendly game of chair soccer for our students. The cheering section really got into it and to it and it was a fun way to start off the last day of school!

Northridge Lacrosse is hosting camps this summer! Girl's lacrosse is an emerging sport in the IHSAA. Help GROW THE GAME!

Our kindergarten’s have grown so much this year and put on a great performance at our Kindergarten Celebration.

Our second graders had a BUSY day today visiting many of the local services around Middlebury that keep our town running and a safe, pleasant place to live. Thank you to Middlebury Town Hall, Middlebury Police Department, Middlebury Public Works, Middlebury Water Treatment Plant, Middlebury Parks Department, Middlebury Professional Firefighters Local #4843, and Middlebury Public Library.

Congratulations to our winners in this year's art show! Theodore Tuckerman, Mia Miller, Adison Bontrager, Charleigh Silvers, and Colton Williams were recognized last Friday evening and received their prizes this morning. Special THANK YOU to Mrs. Rusk for inspiring such lovely artwork from all of our students all year long! You will be missed.
