The entrance gate at Hop Brook Lake will remain closed due to a second wave of heavy rain forcasted for today and Saturday. As a result of the heavy rains we are anticipating more flooding in our park.
If you choose to walk in, please be very careful. The water can rise very quickly and once the water begins to recede, surfaces will be muddy or when dried, the mud becomes silt. Both are extremely slippery.
