The Maze Craze: Middleburgh's Community Playground

The Maze Craze: Middleburgh's Community Playground For 20 years our children have played on this wonderful playground built by our
community in 1989.

While routine maintenance has occurred, a major effort
is now underway to repair and preserve this community treasure for the next
generation.

Join us Tuesday, Nov. 8, to learn more about Odyssey of the Mind, a creative problem-solving program for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. MCS is looking for students, parents, coaches and judges for this year's program!
OM students work together in a fun and safe environment to apply what they’ve learned in class, combined with their interests and passions to creatively solve unique, open-ended problems.
An informational meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, in the high school cafeteria. Please come with questions and sign up a team. For more information, call Lanny Barsale at 518-231-0552 after 3:30.

I just received word that the owner of the Pumpkin Patch, Lois VanDerwerken, would like to offer our community a FREE ADMISSION DAY! We have all been impacted by inflation and rising costs this past year. For our farm it’s been rising costs in seed, insurance, taxes, labor costs, gas for our tractors, etc. We know our community has been effected as well with increasing costs of everyday living. So as a small relief, our 94 year old matriarch would like to offer our community a free admission day tomorrow, Thursday, October 27th πŸ’• So grab your kids, grandparents, cousins, siblings, and friends and enjoy hours of memorable fun.

**updated to add our Thursday hours tomorrow, 2pm-7pm πŸ™‚

The Middleburgh Rotary Club is pleased to announce – in conjunction with the Middleburgh Library – the launch of our free carpool cinema series this late Summer/early Fall will begin on Saturday, August 22nd with a showing of the Disney classic the Lion King.

Showing starts at 8:30pm at the Timothy Murphy Park in Middleburgh.

Understanding that the COVID-19 pandemic continues to pose a significant threat to our community and its members, we encourage drive-in movie attendees to abide by the following recommendations:

Please bring your own concessions as none will be provided.

Please remain in your vehicle (unless sitting in a pick-up truck) during the film viewing.

Please wear a mask if you exit your vehicle for any reason.

Please carpool with members of your family or quarantine bubble to prevent excess cars.
