Quality of life for those who live, visit and work in Middleburg. So please stop in because there is something for everyone in Middleburg.

Visitors and residents can take their time to enjoy the historic buildings, quaint shops, bed & breakfasts, inns, and experience dining at one of our many fine restaurants in the friendly atmosphere that makes Middleburg unique. We are a pet loving town and many of the shops have water bowls placed at their front doors for our four legged friends. The town has served as a host to travelers for more than 250 years and as they say… "practice makes perfect."

Today, we’re visiting the Residents at Salamander with another adorable pup looking for her forever home — meet Eggsy! 🐶💛

Eggsy is a 7-year-old Chihuahua weighing just 11.8 pounds, but don’t let her size fool you — this little girl has a BIG personality! 😎 She’s spayed, great on a leash, playful, loyal, and always ready for an adventure.

Eggsy is definitely a “one and only” kind of girl and would love a home where she gets all the toys, treats, and attention to herself. She has an independent spirit and likes to do things on her own terms, but once she bonds with her person, she’ll be your loyal little companion. 🥰

The Middleburg Police Department is proud to congratulate Chief Shaun Jones on being newly elected to serve as an At-Large Board Member of the Virginia Association of Chiefs of Police (VACP) for the 2026–27 term.

We also extend our congratulations to all of the newly elected VACP Executive Board members and wish everyone a successful year ahead!

We are proud to see Chief Jones represent the Middleburg Police Department and the Town of Middleburg in this leadership role. 👏💙

25th Anniversary 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

The Middleburg Police Department and Town of Middleburg invite our community to come together as we mark the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001.

We will take time to remember those who lost their lives, honor the brave men and women who responded, and reflect on the lasting impact of that day.

🐾 FUR BABY FRIDAY! 🐾

Today, we’re at Middleburg Books with a very special guest — meet Tika! 🐶💕

Tika is a 2-year-old brindle and white girl with a whole lot of love to give. She was once a momma dog, and now she’s ready to be somebody’s baby! 🥰

She’s spayed, crate trained, great with kids, and her adoption fee is sponsored! Tika is an energetic, smart girl who would love an active family for walks, yard time, and plenty of fetch. 🎾

Tika may do well with the right canine companion, but she needs a home without small dogs or cats. She also has Diabetes Insipidus, so she’ll need some special care, but she’s adaptable, affectionate, and ready to find her forever family. ❤️

The Middleburg Community Charter School School Safety Patrol Program gives students an opportunity to learn responsibility, leadership, and the importance of keeping their school community safe.

Officer McCord works closely with our student patrol members, helping them understand their role and encouraging them to be positive leaders among their classmates. It’s also a great way for our officers to build relationships with students and be involved in their everyday school experience.

We’re proud of these young leaders for stepping up and making a difference in their school! 💙
