We’re also incredibly grateful for the custom baseball jersey he gifted to the firehouse to help commemorate the occasion. Your generosity and support made this special event even more memorable for our department and community. Thank you, DJ Smitty! 🚒⚾️

🔥 MEMBER MONDAY: BILL ENFIELD 🔥
This week’s Member Monday spotlight is on Bill Enfield, Chief Financial Officer of Bowleys Quarters Volunteer Fire & Rescue! 🚒⚓
Bill has served with BQVFD for 5½ years, helping maintain, monitor, and grow the financial stability of our all-volunteer organization while keeping his biggest priority at the center of it all serving Bowleys Quarters and the residents of Baltimore County.
Before becoming CFO, Bill served as a Community Board Member from 2021–2023 and as a Baltimore County 911 call taker from 2023–2024.
Bill’s connection to BQVFD started in a pretty memorable way: polishing the aluminum bottom of Marine Unit 219 while it was being built in Bay 4! Another experience he’ll never forget was being on the water with our crews and a news media team for the demolition of the power plant.
Outside of the department, Bill works in mobile wheel repair and is a self-proclaimed “career uncle.” His family means the world to him, and when he isn’t volunteering, you’ll probably find him around the waterfront or anything automotive cars and trucks have always been a passion.
Recently engaged to his fiancé Gina, they currently reside in Carroll Island.
When asked what BQVFD means to him, Bill said family. The teams here have become a genuine part of his family, always supportive and present.
His motto sums up the spirit of volunteer service perfectly:
“We are just a group of ordinary people, trying to accomplish extraordinary things, together.”

We still can’t believe the incredible turnout this weekend! 🤠🎶 Even with the rain, our community showed up in a BIG way.

The support from our community and the incredible way the Tarr Family Farm stepped up to make Country in the Quarters happen was nothing short of amazing. We are so grateful to everyone who came out, supported us, and made this event one we’ll never forget. ❤️
