🚨Traffic Advisory 🚨
Our crew will be conducting a training drill at 200 Hyspot Road, accessing the site from both Hyspot Road and Wilsey Road.
If you are driving through these areas, please use caution and keep an eye out for emergency vehicles and personnel. We will be doing this from 9:00am-12:00pm.
We appreciate your cooperation as we work to stay trained and prepared to serve our community.

Never Forget.
Today, the members of the Middle Grove Fire Company pause to honor and remember the 2,977 innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001, including the 343 firefighters, 71 law enforcement officers, and 55 military personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice.
We remember the courage of the first responders who ran toward danger without hesitation, and the resilience of a nation united in grief and strength.
To the families who lost loved ones, and to all those who continue to serve and protect our communities every day: we honor you, we stand with you, and we will Never Forget. 🇺🇸🚒

🚒 Interior Firefighters – First on the line in structure fires and rescues.
🚒 Exterior Firefighters – Crucial support managing hose lines, staging, and equipment.
🛑 Fire Police – Keeping the scene safe by directing traffic and securing boundaries.
🚚 Apparatus Drivers – Getting our rigs and vital equipment to the emergency scene safely.

Last night’s weekly drill was all about keeping our core skills sharp. The crew got in some quality hands-on pump refresher training with our apparatus, running through water supply setups, operating pressures, and trouble-shooting smooth pump operations to ensure we’re always ready when the call comes in.

🍦 A Sweet Night Out for the Company! 🍦
Last night, we swapped out our heavy turnout gear for ice cream cones! For this week’s drill, the crew took a break from training for a great team-building evening over at Humpty Dumpty Ice Cream.
We want to extend a massive thank you to one of our own brothers, Past Chief J. Jennings and his wife, Brenda, for all they do for our fire company and for treating us to a fantastic night out. Your ongoing support, leadership, and generosity mean the world to everyone in the department.
Nothing brings a crew together quite like great fellowship and a few scoops of ice cream! Thank you again to Chief Jennings and Brenda for everything you do for our fire family. 🚒❤️

Update as of 8 PM. The roadway has been reopened. 

‼️‼️Route 50 is closed at Old Gick North/ Ingersoll Road and Perry Road due to power lines down. Avoid the area. ‼️‼️

🚧 Please follow all directions from emergency responders.
Firefighters, law enforcement officers, and utility crews may close roads or redirect traffic to keep everyone safe. These restrictions are in place for your protection and the safety of those working at the scene.

A little patience and awareness can prevent serious injuries and help emergency crews do their jobs safely.
