🚧 BIG progress update! 🚧

Look closely… this may look like dirt today, but we see something incredible taking shape. The foundation area is dug and ready to go! 🎉

The Journey Home is moving forward, and each milestone brings us one step closer to opening the door to a brand-new beginning. This is where a future home starts — not with walls and windows, but with hope, community, and the people walking alongside the journey.

Keep following along — the transformation is just getting started! 🏠💙

Over the weekend we had a wonderful group of volunteers from LaPorte County Association of REALTORS and Kathy (home 1 owner), our Core Volunteers, Mary our landscaping coordinator and Gary out at the build sites working on siding, landscaping and getting those gorgeous garden boxes filled with beautiful flowers 🌺 😍 It was such a fun and beautiful day. Even the rain decided to skip us 🙌

Thank you to everyone that came out this weekend and who continue to come out weekend after weekend and year after year. We love you! 🥰 💙💙 a home

It is with deeply saddened hearts that we share the passing of one of our partner family members, Amy.

Amy was such a kind, genuine, and caring person with a smile that was contagious. The warmth she carried and the kindness she showed to others left an impact on everyone who had the chance to know her. 🌻 She will be deeply missed by our Habitat family.

Right now, our hearts are with Amy’s loved ones as they walk through this heartbreaking loss. We ask our community to keep her family in your thoughts, prayers, and love during this difficult time.

Some people leave quiet but lasting marks on the hearts of others. Amy was one of those people.

We will miss you, Amy 💔
