Knapp Elementary had the pleasure to team up with the MCHS JrROTC to learn about the American flag along with our habits of characters of how to respect it. Now they have the honor and responsible to raise and lower our flag daily. This lesson was provided as a project encouraged by Create 250, a civics program offered by Ball State University and the Indiana Bar Association for Civics Education. Amber Walker along with Danielle Case, both Knapp Elementary 6th grade teachers were selected to participate in this state wide program to bring Civics Education to our schools. They can't wait to share more Civics educational projects in the future. This is the Wofie Way!
