LaPorte Co Meals on Wheels This service is maintained by volunteers who deliver the meals and assume their own transportation expenses.

Our mission: We nourish and enrich the lives of homebound seniors and disabled persons by providing nutritious hot meals delivered daily by caring community volunteers. Meals on Wheels provides nutritionally balanced meals to your home between 11:15 & 12:45 each day, Monday through Friday. Frozen weekend meals are available as an extra service/fee. Special diets are available as ordered by the recipient's physician.

Our program is able to keep rolling foward because of amazing volunteers and community partners. This week Health Foundation of LaPorte is opening their door and welcoming us to processes our meals for our clients due to a power issue in our laporte location.

Today, we were unable to deliver meals. Despite this, our staff remained committed to supporting our community, completing more than 263 client wellness checks, more than 30 volunteer wellness checks, and countless conversations with friends, family, and community members.

We are grateful for the dedication of our staff and volunteers and for the continued support and connection within our community.
