Thank you to everyone who joined us for Google Family STEM Day at Barker Middle School! Students and families spent the day exploring hands-on STEM activities like coding, building LEGO sets, creating Ozobots, and more while learning together in exciting new ways.

A special thank you to Google, the Economic Development Corporation Michigan City, Indiana and Michigan City Area Schools Office of Food Services for helping make this event possible and providing lunch for our families. We’re grateful to everyone who came out and made the day such a success! 🚀

On Friday, back-to-back Donut-Eating Competition Champion Ben Bachmann returned to the stage to defend his title. 15 donuts later, Ben graciously passed on this title to a new champion as the competition came to a close.

A huge congratulations to all of the competitors, and an even bigger THANK YOU to everyone who came out to cheer on Ben and support MCAS. Together, more than $4,000 was raised to support The Salvation Army Michigan City Corps and Community Center programs in our community! 🍩
