The New York Central Michigan City train station sign is back on display in the yard after being relocated!

To the right of the sign is our clay cart dolly from the Roeske brickyard, and to the left is a track supply wagon from the Haskell & Barker Car Co.

We're excited to announce that shot glasses are now available in our gift shop!

Choose from two designs featuring Michigan City landmarks: the 1904 East Pierhead Lighthouse or the Old Lighthouse Museum.

Shot glasses are $12 each and make a great souvenir or gift.

Our gift shop is open Wednesday through Sunday from 1-4pm. There is no admission fee if you are visiting the gift shop only.

Stop by and pick up your favorite before they're gone!

We have four new tie-dye T-shirts in stock at the Old Lighthouse Museum gift shop.

Bursting with color and perfect for summer, these shirts are sure to brighten up any day!

Sizes S–XL are $22 and 2XL is $24.

Stop in and pick out your favorite. We also have many other solid colors available in the gift shop. We're open Wednesday through Sunday from 1pm to 4pm.

We have new Michigan City East Pierhead Lighthouse T-shirts in stock in the gift shop!

These shirts feature one of Michigan City's most recognizable landmarks and are available in a variety of colors. They are available exclusively through the Old Lighthouse Museum gift shop. Adult sizes Small through XL are $22, and 2XL shirts are $24.

There is no admission fee if you would like to visit the gift shop only. We're open Wednesday through Sunday from 1-4pm.

Just in! We now have Michigan City East Pierhead Lighthouse patches in stock in our gift shop.

These are iron-on patches, but they can also be stitched onto jackets, backpacks, hats, or just about anything else you’d like. They measure a little over 2½ inches in diameter and feature a nice high-quality image.

Patches are available exclusively in our gift shop for $12 each.

We’re open today from 1-4pm and Memorial Day weekend from 1-4pm. There is no admission fee if you would like to visit our gift shop only.

We have many Harbour Lights in stock in our gift shop from all over the world!

The 1904 Michigan City East Pierhead Lighthouse is priced at $50, and it is the only one we have left in stock.

We have 2 models of the 1858 Old Lighthouse Museum left in stock, and they are priced at $75 each.

The 3-1/2 Order Fresnel Lens is priced at $200.

All of the other Harbour Lights currently in stock are priced at $15 or $20 each. They do not come with boxes. They do not make these anymore and some are getting harder to find.

We're open today from 1 to 4 p.m. There is no admission fee if you would like to browse the gift shop only.

Be sure to join us for the last event of World Creativity & Innovation Week: the Divine Vintage Story Walk, this Friday, May 8, 2026. La Porte author, Sandra L. Young, will lead the walk through Michigan City’s Uptown Arts District. This fun, healthy and enlightening event explores the tie-ins of history, vintage inspiration, and modern attractions featured in her book, “Divine Vintage.” The walk begins at the Barker Mansion, 631 Washington Street, Michigan City, at 10:00 a.m. Refreshments will be provided during and after the walk.
