Union School is an intensive tenant union training. Applications are now open.

The training will take place weekly over Zoom from July to October. It covers TUF’s Path to Supermajority, Strike-Ready Tenant Unions.

Trainers from TUF locals—including tenants who have organized their own properties, rent strikers, and members of TUF’s research team—will train on landlord research, scouting, organizing conversations, leadership assessment, blitz, demands, union launch, target analysis, communications, strategy, bargaining, and strikes.

Union School is a skills training. It is not a training on theory, and it is not a book club. Applicants are encouraged to come with a team of at least three tenants, and participants will be required to pick a property to organize, receiving assignments in each session.

Last year Union School support union launches in every nook and cranny of the country— from Albany, to Cincinnati, to Missoula, to Colorado Springs, to Detroit— and those tenants have gone on to win big. This year we want more unions, more power, more wins.

Get ready and stay ready with FREE disaster preparedness supplies! 📦 ⭐️

On June 6 in partnership with will host a Hurricane Preparedness Distribution Event at 8 locations across Florida, helping families get the emergency supplies they need before storms arrive.

Free supplies include:

✔️Water
✔️Emergency Blankets
✔️Flashlights/headlamp
✔️MREs (Meals Ready to Eat)
✔️Dignity kits
✔️Hydration Powder
✔️Candles
✔️Laundry Pouch
✔️Rain Poncho
✔️Dog food

These distributions are open to families, seniors, and individuals in need. No registration required.

We’ll also be joining the City of Hialeah Hurricane Preparedness Event on June 7th to continue supporting our communities with critical resources and preparedness information.

Spread the word, pick up your free hurricane prep supplies, and be prepared for the 2026 hurricane season.

We are so proud to stand alongside tenants and organizers as they call on their law makers to pass this necessary piece of legislation.
