Today, on Women Veterans Recognition Day, we were honored to join the South Dade Women Veterans Alliance for their “Women Are Veterans Too” celebration, recognizing the service, sacrifice, and leadership of women who have proudly served our nation.

Their courage and dedication have helped protect the freedoms we enjoy every day, while inspiring future generations through their example. We thank all women veterans for their commitment to our country and for the lasting impact they continue to make in our communities.

Last week, Miami-Dade County celebrated the remarkable women whose leadership, service, and dedication have left a lasting impact on our community at the Miami-Dade County Women’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

We are especially proud of Supervisor of Elections Alina Garcia, who was honored as a 2025 Women’s Hall of Fame Inductee for her commitment to public service, civic engagement, and strengthening democracy throughout Miami-Dade County.

Congratulations to all of this year’s inductees for their extraordinary achievements and contributions. Your leadership continues to inspire future generations and make our community stronger every day. 💙
