Miami Dade Association of Black Social Workers is a local chapter of the national organization that provides a structure and forum through which Black Social Workers and those in related fields can exchange ideas, offer services and develop programs in the interestof the Black community. It is a non-profit organization of professional and community workers of African ancest

ry who make their skills available to individuals, group and agenies for the alleviation of the numerous problems conforting the Black community. Once a year, the National Association of Black Social Workers has its National Conference to provide information and exchange ideas on the challenging social issues faced by communities of color.
