Qingdao launches a "service checklist" for residential health and wellness, identifying the first batch of 105 service items. Centered on three core scenarios for wellness travelers during their stay in Qingdao — "food, accommodation, and transportation; travel, learning, and recreation; healthcare, wellness, and recuperation" — and structured across three phases — "before arrival, during stay, and after departure" — the city has specified 105 service items in the initial rollout, aiming to substantially improve government services and living support for those who come to Qingdao for residential wellness.
Backed by mountains and sea, with bays seamlessly blending into the urban landscape, Qingdao boasts natural assets including bays, islands, hot springs, and forests — providing ideal conditions for developing health-oriented living, recuperative stays, hot-spring wellness, and island wellness tourism. In recent years, as residents' consumption concepts and health needs have undergone profound changes, residential health and wellness has become a new trend in leisure living and elderly care. The public's demand for integrated, end-to-end services — covering housing and property purchase, transportation, cross-regional medical treatment, and elderly security — has become increasingly prominent.
