Today’s is President Joe Biden, who announced new actions to protect transgender Americans amid the current wave of state-level discriminatory laws. “Our entire administration sees you for who you are, made in the image of God and deserving in dignity, respect and support,” Biden told his trans constituents during on March 31.

Today’s is Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, a Republican, who sent a letter to a state school district telling its superintendent that its planned Pride Week would be considered against the law. Paxton also shared the letter on Twitter, calling LGBTQ people and their allies “deceptive sexual propagandists and predators.”
