BLE 403 brought focus, determination, and energy to this week’s Defensive Tactics training. Defensive tactics training is essential for law enforcement officers because it helps them respond effectively and safely in high-pressure situations while protecting both themselves and the community.
A special thank you to Instructors Mitchell and Jackson for their leadership, guidance, and commitment to preparing the next generation of law enforcement professionals through this critical hands-on training. 👏💪

🚔 Congratulations to the first Intoxilyzer 9000 class conducted at Miami-Dade College School of Justice in over 10 years!

Thanks to an FDLE Alcohol Testing Program grant, officers from agencies across South Florida completed specialized training on the new Intoxilyzer 9000 as Florida prepares for the statewide transition in 2026.

Special thanks to instructors Luis Taborda and George Pacheco for leading this important training initiative. 👏
