This week, representatives from leading German research and funding organizations, together with the German Embassy and the German Consulate General in Miami, are touring five of Florida’s top universities, starting yesterday at FSU in Tallahassee. Here is the schedule for the week:
Mon 2 Feb: Florida State University, Tallahassee
Tue 3 Feb: University of Florida, Gainesville
Wed 4 Feb: University of Central Florida, Orlando and Max Planck Florida Institute of Neuroscience, Jupiter
Thu 5 Feb: University of Miami
Fri 6 Feb: Florida International University, Miami
The funding organizations will be presenting their programs and collaboration opportunities, while the German Embassy introduced Germany’s new Hightech Agenda. The visit also highlighted the Global Minds Initiative, opening new funding opportunities for joint projects and future transatlantic cooperation. 🇩🇪🇺🇸usa
