President Trump has decided to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. That sickening feeling in the pit of your stomach as you heard the revolting decision to end DACA should be kindling to our fire. We must fight and remind the administration that America and all Americans documented or undocumented alike deserve better than this! Do not despair and ignore the onslaught of bias, discrimination, and racism coming from the administration. We are fighting for the life blood of this country. Therefore, the fight lies with all of us and within our judicial and legislative branch to help those most desperately in need of help.

Tomorrow night, come talk about the pressing issues facing the South Florida community...come and discuss your concerns about affordable healthcare, immigration issues and their effects on our community, climate change or any other pressing issue of concern to YOU! Find out what it will take to mobilize our community to take action on these issues from local community leaders and experts. Ask questions and share your thoughts with them to make your voice heard!

Another recess period has passed and our representatives have failed to be present in our communities at a time when we have so much to lose. We will get together to discuss pressing issues of concern to Miami residents and reclaim our power. Local community leaders will be in attendance.

This should be required viewing for every person in this great country of ours. While difficult, it is a worthwhile watch. If you ever wondered what you would have done during in the times of slavery, the Holocaust, segregation, Japanese-American internment or any other time where a set of people were deemed less equal than others, wonder no more. We have an instigator in the White House who doesn't know the difference between right and wrong. He has proven time and time again that he is no leader which means we all need to take a stand and be leaders ourselves. We can all do our part to rid our country of this white supremacy scourge. As First Lady Michelle Obama stated, when they go low, we go high! This is your time to be a bright light in a dark patch of time. Act the opposite of the supremacists, in actions big and small. A simple "good morning" to someone whose skin is of a different shade, a small courtesy, will counter the false narrative that these people are trying to spread...Don't be silent for silence is complicity. Speak out and shine love and knowledge and understanding to counter all their monstrous lies for do not forget that love always prevails over hate!!
