Good afternoon to all. Hope everyone is fine.

We would like to thank all that attended last month's meeting where we witnessed the acknowledgement of the highest number of Deputies that were recognized for the Deputies of the Month for the month of April 2026. Yes, it actually was standing room only, in that meeting. Once again, congratulations of all that were recognized for another job well done. We would also like to thank the Agricultural Patrol for their excellent presentation of letting us know what is going on in that area as well as explaining what their duties are there as well.

Just a reminder that we will have our May 2026 meeting where we will have Detective Ryan Garcia from the Organized Crimes Unit come in and talk to us about his area of expertise, promising to be an interesting presentation coming from this unit. Organized Crime should already give you an idea as to what to expect.

Also remember that we will be electing a new Vice Chair being that Alicia Arellano will be moving up as our new Chair.

Looking forward to seeing you all once again. Meeting shall take place on May 27th, at 10000 SW 142 Avenue in the Roll Call room at 7:00 PM.

Good afternoon, I hope everyone is well. Yes, it is that time of the month again and it is incredible that we are already ending the 4th month of 2026. Count your blessings and enjoy the ride since time does not wait for anyone or anything.
First I would like to thank Major Machado for having brought the Hammocks Investigative Unit to speak to us in last month's meeting. It was in fact a very interesting and enlightening presentation. Also another congratulations to our Deputies of the Month for the month of March 2026.
Just a reminder that next week, April 29, 2026 at 7:00 PM, we will have our April meeting where we will have the privilege of having our Ag Patrol come in and speak to us on what's going on in that area and what they are doing to make it safer for us and the residents of that area. Remember that this is an isolated area and much occurs there that can reasonably create a problem in all other surrounding areas.
Meeting will take place at the same place and time, Hammocks District Station, located at 10000 SW 142 Avenue at 7:00 PM. Looking forward to seeing you all once again

Just a reminder for this upcoming CAC meeting for TODAY, Wednesday March 25, 2026 at 7:00 PM at the station located at 10000 SW 142 Avenue.

Once again we would like to congratulate our incredible group of Deputies for their excellent teamwork ability in their efforts to contain and put away a group of criminals that were causing undue stress in our community. Thank you, Lieutenant Carlos Garcia and Deputies Kacey Cabrera, Nubia Cardenas, Jacqueline Diaz, Jhohan Garcia, Alexander Geisse, Edward Henriquez, Cesar Ramirez, Karyn Toruno and Andres Vargas. We have the best here in the Hammocks.

We would like to also sincerely thank our Miami Dade County Tax Collector; Dariel Fernandez, for his most enlightening and informative presentation of all the wonderful things that are coming out of his area and the new services coming in the future as well. He is doing a phenomenal job where he is at.

This month's speaker of the month will be from our own GIU (General Investigative Unit) Department where they will be informing us on what they do, what to look for, trends and how-to's in avoiding harm to us. Be ready to see and learn all that they do in order to keep us safe as we always say in the meetings.

Good morning!! Hope everyone is doing well and that you all had an enjoyable President's Day this past Monday as well as Valentine's Day.

Once again we want to extend our Congratulations to the Deputies of the Month for January; Sergeant Richard Perez and Deputies Armando Doval Jr and Wesly Urrutia for their exemplary service in rescuing a female from an apparent attack by her estranged partner. Thank you for your vigilance.

Just a reminder that we will be having our monthly meeting TODAY , Wednesday February 25, 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Hammocks District Station located at 10000 SW 142 Avenue, Roll Call Room.

It has been confirmed that Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez will be attending the meeting as our guest speaker for the month of February. Remember that last month, he had an unexpected last-minute situation which resulted in him not having been able to attend. Looking forward to hearing everything that is going on; whether old or new, at the Tax Collectors office. I am sure that we will all have lots of questions for him.

Good afternoon to all. Hope everyone's 2026 has started off well. Yes, we are here again to start all over. Both Alicia and I would like to thank you for continuing to support us and our hopes is that we have truly kept up with our word as we continue to strive to maintain the Hammocks CAC, as the best not only in Dade County, but throughout the state.

First, we would like to thank all of our members as well as the Hammocks Station for having participated and contributed to our last meetings Thanksgiving celebration. Everything was phenomenal, and we believe that everyone left pretty much stuffed from this event. Looking forward to having the 2nd annual "Hammocksgiving" event in 2026.

This is a reminder that TODAY , Wednesday January 28, 2026 at 7:00 PM, at the station, located at 10000 SW 142 Avenue, we will have our first meeting of the year.

We are honored to have as guest speaker for the month of January, none other than our Tax Collector, Mr. Dariel Fernandez whom will be enlightening us with what goes on in his area as well as anything new that he may have implemented since he came on board. Be ready to have questions for him since Mr. Fernandez does enjoy interaction in his meetings. Lets show Mr. Fernandez, who's the best CAC in town.
