As part of the City of North Miami’s Haitian Heritage Month celebrations, Councilwoman Mary Estimé-Irvin and Vice Mayor Kassandra Timothe hosted an extraordinary tribute to the master storytellers of the Haitian diaspora. The evening successfully spotlighted the rich history, raw beauty, and evolution of Haitian cinema, gathering some of the industry’s most revered icons under one roof.
