🎳 Employee Appreciation Week, Day 2: Takeover Tuesday!

Leadership stepped in so our youth care team could step out. 💙

Our leadership team switched places with our Youth Care Specialists and covered the floor, so the people who care for our youth around the clock could enjoy some well-deserved time to recharge. Members of our Clinical and SNAP teams joined in too, making it a night for staff to have fun, unwind and bond as one team.

A huge thank you to Five Iron for sponsoring the evening and recognizing the hard work our staff dedicates to our youth every day. It was a night full of fun, laughter and plenty of strikes!

🎨 Creativity on display! Enjoy these photos from the ProjectArt Miami program our youth attend every week at the North Central Branch Library.

ProjectArt Miami is a free, non-profit after-school visual arts program that pairs emerging professional artists-in-residence with public libraries across the Miami-Dade Public Library System. Each week, our young people get hands-on time to explore new techniques, express themselves, and create something they’re proud of.

A huge shoutout and thank you to the Miami-Dade Public Library System for making this opportunity possible and giving our youth a fantastic outlet to unwind and get creative. 💛📚

🪖 Mission Monday: accomplished!

In honor of “Mission Monday” for Employee Appreciation Spirit Week, our LSF Miami Bridge teams at both the Homestead and Miami campuses wore camouflage to spotlight our mission and combat the Monday blues! 💚

🧘 Employee Appreciation Week kicked off with Mindful Monday!

Our LSF Miami Bridge team started the week by slowing down, breathing deep and taking time to recharge and reenergize. 💙

A heartfelt thank you to our volunteers for leading a calming guided meditation, and to Fostered Peace for gifting relaxing massages to our staff. The people who care for our youth and families every day deserve that same care in return.

🏀🔥 Game night! Let's go, Heat!

A huge thank you to Men of Tomorrow for donating free tickets so our youth could cheer on the Miami Heat at Kaseya Center! From the pregame flames to trying on championship rings, it was a night full of smiles, memories and a whole lot of Heat pride.

Thank you, Men of Tomorrow, for showing our young men what it looks like to invest in the next generation. 💙

Pink squad, activated! 💗 This October, staff at both LSF Miami Bridge Youth & Family Services campuses, Miami Central and Homestead, wore pink in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

At LSF Miami Bridge, we care for youth and families across Miami-Dade County every day, and we wore pink to show our support for breast cancer survivors, those currently in treatment, and the families who stand beside them. The color pink is a symbol of breast cancer awareness and a reminder that early detection saves lives.

💜 This October, LSF Miami Bridge wore purple.

Last week, staff at both of our campuses, in Miami and Homestead, came together in purple to recognize Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Every day, our team works to create safe spaces where youth and families can heal, grow and thrive. Standing together in purple is our reminder that no one should ever feel unsafe at home.

Thank you to our legal community, local dignitaries and judiciary for their attendance at last night’s LSF Miami Bridge Legal Happy Hour. The Globe in Coral Gables was the perfect venue to reconnect with local legal professionals and share how we can best work together to uplift and restore hope in the youth we serve. We would also like to give a special thank you to the Lutheran Services Florida team and its board members in attendance for their support. We hope to see you at our next event!
