Opportunity changes EVERYTHING! 🙌🏾

Today, we celebrated another major step forward for the City of Miami Gardens with the signing of an apprenticeship agreement between Miami Dade College and the City of Miami Gardens!

This partnership creates a direct pathway for individuals to receive hands-on training, develop valuable skills, and pursue career opportunities within our City’s Telecommunications Department.

I’ve always believed that when we connect education with opportunity, we don’t just create jobs — we change lives, strengthen families, and build stronger communities.

That’s a belief Miami Dade College and the City of Miami Gardens share. We’re not just talking about workforce development; we’re creating real pathways to economic opportunity!

Because opportunity changes everything, and our residents deserve access to it!

It was an honor to attend the 5000 Role Models of Excellence North Region Tie-Tying Ceremony! 👔

Today was a powerful reminder that when we invest in our young men, we invest in the future of our communities. Every tie represents leadership, responsibility, excellence, and a commitment to greatness.

Proud to support a program that continues to inspire and empower the next generation of leaders. Our young men matter, and their future is worth investing in! 💪🏾

Great things happen when we come together to serve! 🐬💚🧡

Proud to join the Miami Dolphins and our City of Miami Gardens community for a meaningful service project honoring the life and legacy of Jason Jenkins. His commitment to service and community impact continues to inspire us all!

Always a great day when we get to spend time with our seniors! ❤️ Enjoyed visiting the center, sharing smiles, great conversations, and serving lunch. These moments remind me why serving our community is so important. Our seniors deserve our love, appreciation, and continued support!

🍊🌴 FOUR YEARS OF PARTNERSHIP, CULTURE, AND GOOD VIBES! 🔥

Miami Gardens, we did it AGAIN! What an incredible weekend celebrating Miami Carnival 2026 at the Citrus Premium All-Inclusive Tropical Experience!

For the 4th time, I’ve had the pleasure of partnering with Radiance Productions to bring this amazing experience to our community! Each year, we continue to celebrate Caribbean culture, create unforgettable memories, and bring people together for an incredible time!

From the music and food to the nonstop energy, Citrus continues to deliver an experience like no other!

A special thank you to Radiance Productions, everyone behind the scenes, and all who came out to support. Partnerships like these remind us of the importance of celebrating culture, building community, and creating experiences that bring people together.

Four times strong, and we’re just getting started! 🍊🔥🌴

Great morning supporting our Miami Gardens Police Department at their Coffee with a Cop initiative! ☕👮🏾‍♂️

Building stronger communities starts with conversation, connection, and trust. Always good to spend time with our officers and residents outside of the uniform and beyond City Hall.

Strong relationships build safer communities. 💙
