🏈 Friday Night Football in Miami Gardens!

Last night, two of our hometown schools, Miami Carol City Senior High and Miami Norland Senior High, went head-to-head for the Commissioner’s Cup!

It was great seeing our community come together to support our student-athletes, coaches, bands, cheerleaders, and school families. This is what Miami Gardens is all about: community, school pride, and supporting our young people!

Congratulations to Miami Carol City Senior High on bringing home the Commissioner’s Cup! 🏆👏🏾

The celebration has officially begun! 🎉💙🦈

Miami Dade College is celebrating 66 years of education, opportunity, and impact in our community. Today, I had the opportunity to stop by the MDC Medical Campus to join in the festivities and show my support.

For 66 years, MDC has been opening doors, changing lives, and creating pathways to brighter futures. Proud to celebrate this incredible milestone with the MDC family!

Wrapped up the day with my monthly Coffee & Conversation with residents at our local Starbucks! After a month focused on budget meetings followed by our summer recess, it felt great to be back around the table listening, connecting, and talking about the issues that matter most to our community.

There’s nothing like good conversation over a cup of coffee! ☕️

A meaningful chapter in my journey of service continues!

I was officially sworn in for my second full term as Councilman for the City of Miami Gardens, Seat 6. Four more years to serve. Four more years to lead. Four more years to deliver.

While the official swearing-in was private, we’ll celebrate together at the ceremonial swearing-in this October.

I’m excited about what’s ahead and grateful for the continued trust of our residents. There’s more progress to make, more opportunities to create, and more work to be done.

Four more years—let’s get to work!
