Congratulations to our CS1 Nathalie Viger on completing her tour onboard the Yered! She has served aboard four cutters and totaled over 5 years of sea time earning her cutterman's pin. She will be moving to USCGC Station Port O'Connor in Texas to serve as the Food Service Officer.

We thank CS1 for all she has done for the crew and her hard work ensuring the cutter is able to carry out its mission. Fair winds and following seas shipmate!

A few photos to show our progress and all that goes into getting the ship ready for blasting and painting. All exterior equipment either needs removed or protected, and scaffolding and a containment unit needs built around the ship. The crew and U.S. Coast Guard Yard are working hard to keep us for years to come!
