Meyersdale Public Library Your all-purpose community library for Southern Somerset County: books, DVDs, WIFI, public computers (SCFLS) and are part of the Johnstown District.

We’re your all-purpose public library serving southern Somerset County, PA. We offer books, magazines, DVDs, e-books, audiobooks, Wi-Fi, public computers, photocopy & fax service, educational programming, and local history and genealogy resources. The Meyersdale Public Library is a 501c3 nonprofit corporation formed for the purposes of providing library services to Meyersdale, PA and the surround

ing area. We are a member of the Somerset County Federated Library System, Inc. The Meyersdale Public Library Board of Trustees is responsible for oversight of the operations of the library. Day-to-day management is entrusted to the Library Director. Our defined service area covers 19 municipalities in southern Somerset County; however, ALL Somerset County residents and property owners qualify for a free library card at our library.

DID YOU KNOW that you can download audiobooks using your library card? Cloud Library is the platform our Johnstown Library District uses to provide downloadable audio books and e-books. Use the Cloud Library link on our library's website. When asked to select your library, select "Johnstown District Library." (Do NOT choose Somerset County Library, because it will select Somerset County, NEW JERSEY.)

Our Summer Quest program is just a month away. The program for kids ages 2-11 will be held at the Fuller Park Playground/Pavilion on Fridays at 10AM, July 10-August 7. Register at the library now to enjoy stories, crafts, games, special presenters, and FUN! Children 5 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
