ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Mexico Fire Department – New Fire Station

Mexico, Maine

You are invited to submit a "Lump Sum" proposal for construction of a new single story fire station, roughly 6,900 gross square feet, including associated mechanical, plumbing, sprinkler, electrical and site work. in Mexico, Maine.

This proposal shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, on the bid form issued to:

no later than Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened and read privately.

A pre-bid meeting for Bidding Contractors will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at the project address: 169 Roxbury Road, Mexico, ME 04257.

Bids shall be accompanied by a satisfactory bid bond for 5% of the bid, provided by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Maine.

The selected Contractor will be required to furnish a 100% Contract Performance Bond and a 100% Contract Payment Bond provided by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Maine to cover the ex*****on of the Work.

The Owner reserves the right to waive all formalities and reject any and all Bids or to accept any Bid. Bids shall be submitted upon the Form provided by the Architect.
