🧪🔬 7th Grade Scientists Are Back at It! 🔬🧪

Our 7th grade scientists rolled up their sleeves and jumped into another exciting hands-on lab! Students had a great time exploring scientific concepts, working collaboratively, making observations, and putting their learning into action.

The energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm in the classroom were incredible to see. Learning is always more meaningful when students can actively investigate and discover for themselves!

📣 Shout out to our 6th Grade Social Studies students!

They worked hard all last week on a project where they created their own amusement parks using the mapping skills they learned throughout the year. They then wrote a summary explaining why someone would want to visit their park!

While students in some other classes had a more laid-back schedule, these kids could have easily shifted into summer mode. Instead, they walked through the door prepared, focused, and excited to finish the year strong.

Mrs. Gallant's Falcon Time group and Mrs. Frost's 1st graders spent time together on Thursday sharing what they learned during their Apiary visit where the MVCS maintains their beehives of honey bees. They read books about honey bees and colored a honey bee to take with them. This was the first time the Littles got to venture over to the middle school side. We were very excited to have them and look forward to doing more projects next year as our MVCS continues to come together as one big family.

As the school year comes to a close, families are reminded to pick up any student prescription medications from the school nurse's office by June 16 at 1:00 PM.

⚠️ Any medications remaining after that time will be properly disposed of according to school procedures.

This Wednesday, our staff, pre-K to 8, had the opportunity to experience their own I-Time during our monthly staff meeting! Staff members also participated in a Building Assets, Reducing Risk (BARR) survey, reflecting on and sharing what they were most proud of accomplishing this school year.

It was inspiring to hear the successes, celebrations, and growth happening throughout our school. Taking time to recognize our achievements reminded us of the strong sense of unity, collaboration, and commitment that makes our school community so special.

Together, we continue to build relationships, support one another, and create opportunities for success for all students and staff.

The buses are about an hour away from school! ⭐️Please make sure if your student went on the field trip there is someone ready and picking them up from MVCS around 5pm!

We had an amazing day full of laughs, smiles, and great weather. ☀️
