The responsibility of the Moderator is to plan, organize, preside over and run Town Meeting. Moderation requires having a good understanding of parliamentary procedure, Town Bylaws, and the traditions of the Town Meeting, as well as a familiarity with the issues, without taking sides. John prides himself on honesty, directness, and fairness, and hopes to continue this work for the Town of Arlington.
