🏊 Swim Lessons Are Back at Metamora Community Pool!
What’s New This Year?
✅ Lessons are based on skill level, not age
✅ More time in the pool with 4 one-hour lessons instead of 8 half-hour lessons
✅ Improved consistency and instruction time with swimmers
✅ Swimmers move up by mastering skills and earning a graduation certificate 🎓
💦 Swim Levels Include:
• Pre-Beginner (Ages 3–4) – Water introduction & safety (must be potty trained and 3+ years old)
• Beginner 1 (Age 5+) – Floating, kicking, jumping, underwater comfort & safety
• Beginner 2 – Builds swimming skills and introduces arm strokes, diving & deep water confidence
• Advanced Beginner – Treading water, elementary backstroke, breaststroke & more
• Swimmers Level – Stroke development, underwater swimming, sidestroke, backstroke & advanced skills
📅 How Sessions Work:
Each session includes 4 one-hour classes during the week for more consistency and learning time in the water. Fridays will be used as make-up days if lessons are canceled due to weather or pool-related issues.
💲 Pricing:🏡 In-District Residents (Village of Metamora residents who pay Metamora Park District taxes): $60 per session, per child
📍 Out-of-District Residents: $75 per session, per child
Families may register for multiple sessions throughout the summer!
