🐯🔬🥼🧪STEM in the Tiger Den:

This week in Ms. Henderson's class, our 3rd grade Tigers put their STEM skills into action through mathematics! Students were challenged to create two different rectangular arrays using the number 24, making sure each design had equal rows and columns.

After creating their arrays, students connected their designs to the mathematical equations that represented their work.

Our Tigers are learning that math isn’t just about finding an answer—it’s about creating, exploring, explaining, and showing your thinking!

Jefferson Parish Schools Athletic Department will be hosting a Sports Physicals event for Saturday, August 22, 2026. These sports physicals are needed for your scholar to participate in 6th, 7th and 8th grade boys/girls sports (Boys/Girls Soccer, Boys/Girls Track, Boys/Girls Basketball, Football, Volleyball, Boys Baseball and Girls Softball plus Cheerleading, Dance Team and Majorettes)

Bunche/Washington is partnering up with Harris Middle School for all of our Scholars that want to do Sports for the 2026/27 school year

The cost is $22 which can be paid online on site through a QR code

Bunche/Washington time is for 9:00am

A physical form must be filled and signed by parent before proceeding the exam.
