We kicked off Summer Reading with a special story time featuring the Mesquite Texas City Hall - Mayor, games, crafts, and a glow room!

MARY WAVRUSA DAY !!!

SHE OFFICIALLY finishes an extraordinary
47 YEARS AND 11 MONTHS (48 YEARS) as a City of Mesquite Employee starting her career with the Mesquite Public Library in 1978 as a senior in High School!!!

Mary has served as an Administrative Aid in the Mesquite Library System supporting the library and its operations using her intellect, positive attitude, and work ethic. She has also been recognized as a Real Texas Service Champion due to her expertise in her work. Up to this point, Mary has been the City Of Mesquite’s longest- tenured employee.

Join me in thanking Mary for over 47 years of library service in our community!!!
