This week we have storytime, a playdate, an art giveaway, and so much more! Then we are wrapping up the week with our Library Card Sign-Up Month Party! 🥳

Haven't gotten your library card yet? Thats ok! This is the perfect time to get one for everyone in the family. Your card unlocks more than just great books. We have movies, digital resources, and more!

Update as of September 2, 2026: Due to construction work, we are closing the Main Library at 12 PM today and will be closed for the remainder of the day. For more assistance, our North branch will be open until 8 PM.

Main Library Parking Lot Maintenance Announcement:

The Mesquite Public Library System would like to give patrons a heads-up that parking lot maintenance will begin on Wednesday, September 2nd, and is expected to continue for several days.

Over the next several days, you may notice some construction noise and temporary closures of some parking spots while work takes place near the Ebrite entrance.

To make this easier for patrons, we encourage you to enter and exit through the W. Grubb Drive entrance while the work is underway.
