Tails, Trails, and Treats will feature:
• Costume contests
• Ball retrieving contests
• PUPstacle Course Challenges

Small and large dogs will compete separately, with contests beginning at 9:30 a.m. Sign up on site and see what your pup can do! 🐶

Please note: ‼️🎣 Due to the combination of extreme heat and more than 50 days without measurable rainfall, the water quality at City Lake Park is currently not suitable for fish stocking. To protect the wildlife that depends on the lake, today’s stocking has been postponed.

Staff will continue working closely with Texas Parks and Wildlife to monitor conditions and make weekly decisions about when stocking can safely resume.

We appreciate the community’s patience  and we’ll share updates as we move forward.

Food vendors who provide main course options are encouraged to apply for the chance to serve attendees at one of Mesquite’s largest fall events. Please note, the roster has reached capacity on beverage related vendors such as lemonade.

💪 Ladies, add self defense to your skill set! Registration is open for a six week Ladies Self Defense class focused on practical skills, confidence and personal safety. Classes begin Monday, October 5 at Rutherford Recreation Center and are open to ages 10+.

The cost is $45 per person, and pre-registration is required. Non-resident fees apply.
