Don’t miss out on Camp Excel this summer! ☀️ Registration for current kindergarten–5th grade students closes on Friday, May 29. Camp will be held at Frasier Middle School and features hands-on classes in STEM, art, robotics, cooking, and more. Each session is $50, and free breakfast and lunch will be available for students during camp!

Our Pre-K & Kinder GLOW House Party was the perfect way to celebrate a phenomenal year! ✨🌟

We are so proud of our little learners for all their hard work in academics, their growth in behavior, and the kindness they’ve shown all year long. They truly let their light shine bright! 💡💛

It has been such a joy watching them learn, grow, and blossom into confident students. What a fun night full of glowing smiles, laughter, and celebration!

Big things are happening at Rutherford Elementary and we are so proud to support these great teachers and future Skeeters!

Their Campus Grant, Unlocking Potential, will update and expand the campus STEM/STEAM program by integrating tactile problem-solving lessons. Specifically, we they will purchase Breakout Boxes and Instant Challenge/Extension items for collaborative inquiry.

The Innovation Grant is called Discovery Learning and will update and expand the campus technology program by integrating robotics and immersive reality. Specifically, they will purchase Sphero Indi robots for early-learner computational thinking, iPads for advanced robotic control, and Virtual Reality (VR) goggles for immersive exploration.

Our 3rd Grade Idiom Parade was “a piece of cake!” 🎉📚

Our students brought idioms to life with creative costumes, big smiles, and lots of laughter! From “raining cats and dogs” to “spill the beans,” our hallways were filled with imagination and learning.

We are so proud of our students for thinking outside the box and showing off their creativity and understanding of figurative language. Thank you to our amazing teachers and families for helping make this event such a success! ❤️

At Rutherford Elementary School, learning is always more fun when we can dress it up and bring it to life!

Please use this form to RSVP for Rutherford May Activities. Each person attending these events will need to sign in for a visitors badge. Please fill out this form to pre-register if you have had your license scanned into the raptor system this school year.

If not, you may visit the office beginning Monday, May 4th. The deadline to register will be Wednesday, May 13th.You will need to bring your ID to scan in to the Raptor system to receive your badge.

All pre-registered badges will be sent home with students on Thursday, May 14th for both events.

You must have a visitors badge to attend these events.

*Visitors without badges must wait in line outside the office. We will start scanning visitors at 8:15. Please be patient as this process takes time.
