🚀💫 Our First Friday Assembly of the Year! 💫🚀

What a fantastic way to kick off our first Friday Assembly at Rutherford Elementary! 🌟

Today, we celebrated our Summer Reading Superstars 📚☀️ and recognized students who kept their love of reading going throughout the summer! We are so proud of our students for making reading a priority! 📖🚀

We also reviewed the Rutherford Way and reminded our students that the choices we make every day help make Rutherford A Space for All! 🌎💙

Finally, we launched our September Focus: INVEST IN RELATIONSHIPS 🤝💙

This month, we are challenging everyone to build connections, show kindness, make others feel valued, and strengthen the relationships that help our students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.

🏠 FAMILIES, WE NEED YOU!
This month, take time to invest in your relationship with your child. Ask about their day, listen to their stories, read together, eat a meal together, or simply remind them how proud you are of them. Small moments create strong connections! 💙

👉 Our family challenge: Choose one intentional way each day to connect with your child and help them feel seen, valued, and loved.

Families, we’re excited to welcome you back to Rutherford Elementary for our Open House on August 25 from 5:00–6:30 PM!

🌎 A Space for All means creating a place where every student and family feels welcomed, connected, and ready to launch into a successful school year!

✨ Join us for three sessions:
🕔 5:10–5:30 PM
🕕 5:40–6:00 PM
🕡 6:10–6:30 PM

During Open House, families will have the opportunity to:
