The Compassionate Friends Mesa-Tempe Chapter, Arizona We are a national nonprofit and a self-help organization with over 600 chapters in the United States and chapters worldwide.

TCF is an all-voluntary nonprofit supporting parents, grandparents and siblings (18 years and over) following the death of a child, regardless of age or circumstances of the death of a child, grandchild or sibling. Our Valley of the Sun meetings are open to parents, grandparents, & siblings over the age of 18 who are grieving the death of a child, grandchild or sibling. We have no religious affili

ation and no dues or fees. We offer a safe place to meet and talk freely about your child and your grief issues. No one is required to speak, but we do encourage you to be a considerate and careful listener. There is so much to learn that will help you during your grief journey.

The Mesa Tempe Chapter of The Compassionate Friends will begin meeting in person on Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 7 - 9 pm. Our chapter always meets on the 2nd Thursday of every month from 7 - 9 pm. We meet in Fellowship Hall which is a separate building located on the NORTH end of College View Baptist Church, 1810 S Longmore, Mesa 85202
There will only be two more bereaved parent/grandparent meetings online via Zoom. The first one is on Thursday, July 22. The second & final online Zoom meeting is on Thursday, August 26. Both meetings will be from 7 - 9 pm.
Adult siblings (over 18 years) will continue to meet ONLINE via Zoom, on the 2nd Thursday of every month from 7 - 9 pm. For sibling support, email Samantha at [email protected] or [email protected].
Denise & I are following CDC guidelines and are fully vaccinated. If you plan to attend, please follow CDC.gov recommendations to protect yourself and our community.
