🚧 Road & Sidewalk Assessment Work Underway in Merrimack 🚧

Residents may notice a specially marked vehicle traveling throughout town roads and an e-scooter operating along sidewalks over the coming weeks.

The Town of Merrimack is partnering with Citylogix to launch a comprehensive Pavement and Sidewalk Asset Management Program. Using LiDAR technology, 360° imaging, and AI-powered analytics, Citylogix will collect data on approximately 190 miles of roads and 34 miles of sidewalks to assess infrastructure conditions and help guide future maintenance planning.

Field work begins the week of June 22 and will continue periodically throughout the year as data is collected and analyzed.

If you see the survey vehicle or e-scooter in your neighborhood, there is no cause for concern, they are conducting authorized infrastructure assessments on behalf of the Town of Merrimack.

Good morning! We have recently noticed a large amount of metal items have been finding their way into the trash. We would like to respectfully ask that all metal items be placed in the scrap metal. Merrimack's scrap metal generates revenue. By disposing of metal in the trash we are creating more cost instead of more revenue.

A few (but certainly not all) items that we commonly see in the trash that should be placed in scrap metal are:

Patio furniture (resin or wicker)
Bicycles
Gym equipment
Dishwashers
Bed frames
Wrought iron
Garden fence
Loose hardware
Electrical cords
Power tools (Please remove batteries)

Please ask an attendant if you are not sure. THANK YOU!
