Last week, members of the Merrimack Police Department participated in ALERRT (Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training) at the Merrimack Middle School.

This training provides our officers with the skills and experience necessary to respond quickly and effectively to an active threat or other critical incident in a school environment. Conducting this training in an actual school setting allows our officers to become familiar with the layout and challenges they may encounter during an emergency.

School safety is a top priority for the Merrimack Police Department. We are committed to working closely with our schools, staff, students, and community partners to ensure our schools remain safe places to learn and work.

We would like to thank the Merrimack School District for their cooperation and partnership as we continue to train, prepare, and improve our response to critical incidents.

Arrested: Lisa Worster
Charges: Disobeying an Officer, Aggravated DWI, Resisting Detention and Conduct After an Accident

On August 21, 2026, a Colebrook woman was arrested by Merrimack Police on several charges, to include Disobeying an Officer, Aggravated DWI, Resisting Detention, and Conduct After an Accident.

At 11:48 AM, Merrimack Police received a call about a motor vehicle operating erratically in the area of Wire Rd. The caller advised the vehicle had struck several signs and was stuck on a sign post. The female driver was described as having fallen on her face while exiting the vehicle and was believed to be intoxicated. The vehicle then fled the area and officers were able to locate it on Hillside Terrace. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, and the operator refused to stop and accelerated away. The operator then became stuck in traffic on Baboosic Lake Rd, where officers were able to safely make contact with her. The operator refused to exit the vehicle on her own accord. She was ultimately removed from the vehicle and taken into custody.

The vehicle operator was identified as Lisa Worster of Colebrook, NH. Worster was transported to the Merrimack Police Department where she was processed. Worster was held on Preventative Detention and is scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Merrimack District Court on August 24, 2026 to answer to the charges.

Congratulations to Officer Ethan Labbe on completing the 203rd NH Police Academy. Officer Labbe will now begin the next phase of his training in the field.

2 new officers were sworn in today, Alex Jukoski and Brandon Parshley. Officer Jukoski joins us with 3 years of experience and has begun his FTO program. Officer Parshley will hit the ground running and begin the 204th Full Time Police Academy next week. Welcome aboard!

The Merrimack Police Department has partnered with The Doorway of Greater Nashua to offer an educational session on the dangers of Unregulated Intoxicants. This is a free educational event open to all members of the community and will cover many of the common "Gas Station Drugs' found for sale in our communities.
