12:45pm: East Main St is now open. Crews are still working on the outage.

Update 9:30am: To safely remove the fallen tree and make critical repairs, the Light Department will shut off power to the line supplying everything east of Bear Hill Rd for approximately 4 hours.

🚧 East Main Street remains CLOSED at North Shore Community Trailer Park after a large tree fell onto electrical wires.

🚗 Detour: Use Emery Street, Middle Road, and Broad Street to get around the closure.

Power outage update: we have requested a formal explanation from National Grid but they were not able to supply full power to our substation earlier. Since they were only able to provide half power, power was shut down until they were able to provide full power again. Once we have a formal explanation, I will share. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience and support. - MMLD
