I am so humbled and thankful to all of you for electing me to the Merrick Board of Education. To all the people who called, texted, messaged and worked hard every day for the past month, we did it! I can't wait to serve this community and all of its children.

As we come into the last days before the election, Gina Ragusa Piskin and I want to be sure that all of you know us better, and where we stand on the issues related to our children, our schools and our community. We have so enjoyed getting to reconnect with friends and making so many more during this campaign. Merrick is indeed stronger together.

Dear Merrick community,

Throughout the process of running for the Board of Education, I have worked very hard to focus on the issues that matter to our community and I have done so in a respectful and professional manner. It crosses the line and is extremely dangerous when lies, attacks on my reputation and on MY CHILD are put on social media in hateful and dangerous ways.

I would ask everyone in this community to recognize what is happening, and I call upon my opponents to immediately denounce what is happening. I am sure you would not want your family or your children to be put in danger, and I would certainly hope that you would do all that you can to protect mine.

Let us all recognize what is happening here.

It is a real shame. I would ask anyone who sees this post to share it widely so that everyone is aware just how dangerous this has become.
