Traffic Alert: McMillan Rd Closure

Starting September 21, McMillan Rd between Star Rd and Owyhee Storm Ave will be closed for force main sewer installation. The closure, part of the Can Ada Lift Station Project, is expected to reopen in early November. Work will not extend into the intersections at Star Rd and Owyhee Storm Ave.

Please obey all traffic signs, watch for crew members, and use caution while in the area.

The 2026 irrigation season will end on September 28 for several irrigation districts:
- Nampa & Meridian Irrigation District
- Pioneer Irrigation District
- Boise - Kuna Irrigation District

Settlers Irrigation will tentatively end on October 9.

If your irrigation district is not mentioned above, contact your HOA or irrigation district for the shut-off date in your area.

Today, the City of Meridian and Meridian Police Department - Idaho gathered with members of the community to honor and remember those 9/11 victims who made the ultimate sacrifice 25 years ago.

The ceremony was held at 6:46 a.m., marking the moment the first plane struck the Twin Towers in New York.

We will never forget.
