We made some small upgrades to
Lloyd’s Lounge yesterday. We moved the chess table out and added a couple of cocktail tables for people to gather around. Then we moved some stuff around based on the soft openings experiences to encourage people to stay on the correct side of the counter 😜

As things loved around we felt like we also needed to adjust the wall hangings. Not pictured is the Vietnam map which was given a more prominent spot behind the recliners.

Next, we cleaned up the back of our open cabinets with some wallpaper and created the “ visual menu” pictured. As you can see in the picture, besides beverages we also have a few food items for those days where you’re having a great time and need substance. Let us know in the comments other shelf stable items we should consider.

Our Post is so blessed to have received this generous donation from fellow veteran Borchard and his wife Borchard.

I think we should break it in with a Post barbecue ! Look for details later this week!!

Super excited to see the back bar top so close to being installed ! Commander Ralph Cavalieri and his wife Annette Cavalieri have taken rough lumber and turned it into a work of art. We couldn’t be more grateful for their contribution to Lloyds Lounge!

Members should get their first look at next Tuesday’s meeting.

Update from the department annual conference.
—New Bylaws were passed
—A new post was approved in district 3 and will be numbered 156. Our Victor Scott Muglia will be the first commander

In the elections, new Department Commander John White was elected. In the contested elections, Area B Commander remains Harry Haldberg, Jim Blanton was elected Alt NEC, Rondel was elected chaplain. Ernest D Cook was elected to a 3 year term in the Department Finance Committee.
